I had a great reading week! A few of these were quick delicious reads! I’ve finally finished Iron Flame, it went quick after I was able to find time. I was trying to keep on arc schedule at the end of the year and just kept putting it off.

Love a good pirate queen who actually a double agent spy for the crown. You know the usual. Lady Lisbeth is definitely a strong character and Saint is intrigued. They had such spicy chemistry but so many secrets.
Loved how this wrapped up and the diversity of the characters! There is ships, smuggling and double crossing and that’s just the beginning. Will always love an Amalie Howard historical! #besties #bff

Here is a backlog netgalley oops sorry. But love a childhood bestie who tries to help set you up and keeps picking the old guys. Then doesn’t think anyone is good enough. Love when he falls first and has no idea. You have to beat some of them over the head with some harmless flirtation with an eligible bachelor for them to start growling “mine”. This had tons of family drama and some mental health struggles.

Not sure why it took me so long to read but I was kind of scared I was going to get my heart crushed.
But it was the kind of pain I enjoy in a fictional story.
I enjoyed this as much as the first. I’m in the bandwagon category. I see people talking about how whiney Violet was but tbh Xaden threw her for a loop when they got to where they were going.
This other chick also had these super annoying powers that I swear a girl I know from high school had. They could just worm their way into your insecurities and make a bigger hole until you are crushed. And the residual feelings of what she did is like when you wake up from a bad dream and are mad at your husband all day. Cause dream husband did some dickish things.
I kind of enjoy the jealousy trope. I’m a bit of a masochist as well cause I enjoy those cliffhangers that make you feel like you have a few fingers dangling with no purchase. I like the pain give me more! Said only one person (me).
Definitely will be reading all in this series!

Just love this series!!!! This is book #6 in the Olympus series! This relationship was so 🔥. I love Katee’s poly relationships. They are always so tension-filled and full of tender moments but also very fun seggsy situations.
In the ongoing power struggle in Olympus we find out some interesting facts and people behind the power plays. No spoiling for anyone!
Loved the kinks in this and the mm situations. The love and longing were just so stunning.

Very entertaining debut ya fantasy and can’t wait for the next book!

I need to pick up all of these books! Why did it take me so long to read this book? I love retellings and didn’t know what to expect. This was such a delightfully dark Hook retelling it was contemporary and felt Mafia. So bl00dy and dangerous but wow Wendy was all about it.
Loved how she broke through his walls even though he did some questionable things, he was Hook- it’s in the name.
But there were so many twists and I wasn’t expecting the ending. Loved it! Need to read the others!
