It’s been awhile since I read book 2 but the way this one started off I was easily able to be drawn back into this world. This is set in an academy but it’s New Adult with some open door scenes but there’s way more paranormal and intense action.
So many twists and turns and secrets! I need to read the other prequel books. Also very interested in Adip’s book.

Always enjoy a multigenerational friendship and one that brings two people together. Serafina had a unique shop and I just loved listening to the book binding and the magic that she put into each item.
The death of her elderly friend and him leaving her some items gets his grandson Wes to come knocking. He’s very skeptical at first then I’m pretty sure he falls first. But they are so used to being alone that they push each other away. I guess there’s some miscommunication which my God this space hates it’s like miscommunication isn’t a real life occurrence. I’m so tired of hearing people dismiss books cause of it.
This one was a cute, grumpy sunshine in a witchy new age bookshop.

This was such a fun and quirky romance. Zoey is such a mess but in a brilliant phD candidate, clumsy way. She runs into Davy who is hot and all her plans go away.
She ends up on his private island cause he has a piece of her research which honestly seems very slippery cause it just kept getting lost, I think it was a sign she didn’t want it.
They had a slow burn romance and he suffered from anxiety and just wanted to be a hermit because of experiences from his past.
I would totally watch this if it was a romcom. It was funny, had an elderly Jaguar, a Scooby doo neighbor trying to cause trouble and all the feels.
OMG I love Lola’s books!! She has these broken guys that are noticed by these arrogant guys that are also dangerous as sin. But they don’t feel broken. I don’t know what it is about her writing but it feels so dreamy and warm but dark and hot. Their insecurities don’t make you feel bad or ashamed ( you know second hand). I was just telling my friend it makes me feel like I’m in a warm blanket.
Arthur the arrogant older stepbro, who doesn’t know what’s wrong and is just feeding off of him and his emotions. He knows he’s enjoying it but when he finds out what happened to him🤯🥵🔥🌭🌶️🌡️♨️
It’s extremely open door and very dirty well you know all of these books are. I had to take a few breaks lol. It’s NSFW if you listen lol, it’s very distracting😂
