So I have always loved You’ve Got Mail but I also just love the power couple that was Hanks and Ryan.

But the idea of meeting someone and falling in love with the person before you see them always made me starry eyed. I had horrible self esteem as an adolescent but thought if only someone would get to know me… Dating is rough

This book was sooo what I needed! I just loved Sebastian. He’s the attractive altruistic business man that happens to be trying to buy up the rest of the leases his families company owns to develop. But our sweet Gracie is one of the hold outs and a thorn in his side.

Gracie runs a champagne shop called Bubbles passed down from her father. She’s a sweet artsy type that just wants the happily ever after. She is currently chatting up an attached man on a dating app which is complicated but this Sir and her have so much in common.

This book was so much fun!

I was breezing along loving the banter and wit, feeling the lovey moments and the awesome grand gesture.

Then out of the blue almost last page before the Epilogue you mention something sweet about the Dad being there in spirit and made me absolutely lose it! Lol my cousin had just been telling me yesterday about all these dreams he’s had of my Dad visiting him and chatting with him. So crazy, he passed on 7/6/17 why does it feel like yesterday?

Thank you gallery books and net galley for the e-ARC for my honest and voluntary review.

Synopsis:

Love Is Blind meets You’ve Got Mail in this laugh-out-loud romantic comedy following two thirty-somethings who meet on a blind dating app—only to realize that their online chemistry is nothing compared to their offline rivalry.

Perpetually cheerful and eager to please, Gracie Cooper strives to make the best out of every situation. So when her father dies just months after a lung cancer diagnosis, she sets aside her dreams of pursuing her passion for art to take over his Midtown Manhattan champagne shop. She soon finds out that the store’s profit margins are being squeezed perilously tight, and complicating matters further, a giant corporation headed by the impossibly handsome, but irritatingly arrogant Sebastian Andrews is proposing a buyout. But Gracie can’t bear the thought of throwing away her father’s dream like she did her own.

Overwhelmed and not wanting to admit to her friends or family that she’s having second thoughts about the shop, Gracie seeks advice and solace from someone she’s never met—the faceless “Sir”, with whom she connected on a blind dating app where matches get to know each other through messages and common interests before exchanging real names or photos.

But although Gracie finds herself slowly falling for Sir online, she has no idea she’s already met him in real life…and they can’t stand each other.
