Review:

This is such an interesting book that is set in an elite academy with little to no supervision. Or so it seems with video surveillance and guards. You think it’s just a drama filled upper young adult (18) book then enter Henry. Henry is new to the school and he has special abilities. He can see visions and is a precog.
But he’s never recognized anyone in his visions and the stories of those who tried to change visions are legend. Well myths of nightmares.
Natalie feels a pull to Henry. She is the most popular girl on campus with the best boyfriend but she just feels cringey about it all and really doesn’t like her bf. But it’s more like a business alliance for her Dad, which she feels obligated to. They both struggle with who they are and their motivations.
So much happens once Henry just says something to her about his vision and there are so many new truths we learn and strange scary people that come out of nowhere. But maybe they were lying in wait.
Natalies mothers death is a big key to this and nothing is as it seems or was told. Eek loved this. And it felt kind of like a love triangle with this guy Wes who was trying to help Natalie and take Henry’s place. But her internal monologue was hilarious since she was just trying to get information out of him. I mean a super hot guy just shows up and starts touching your face and stuff. That’s a def nope but he knows Henry sooo.
This book ended on a “I don’t know where we are headed but I want the next one”.. It wasn’t a cliffhanger, more of a wait is there one more bonus chapter. Luckily there was the first chapter of the next book at the end so it felt like you knew where you would pick up.
Also, can you tell me more about the babies?

❓Do you like epilogues or excerpts from the next book at the end? Or even when the end of the book is setting up the next book usually in romance series.
I absolutely love them. I just love stories and when they end it’s sad so knowing that there’s something more in that little universe makes me happy.
