Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This story starts with a boom! You get plunged into the story with the prologue.  The detail is absorbing and you feel like you are in the high school hierarchy and all that entails.  This story is set in Australia in a small town with a cast of interesting characters.  If you are like me you get drawn to Hunter, there’s too much confidence and mystery not to.  He’s that slow burn, high school crush that I remember.  I’m rooting for Huxor .  The action was intense and the book ends on an exciting cliffhanger.  I don’t want to give anything away but it was definitely my kind of read!  Can’t wait for Book 2 in the Chronicles!
