Simon vs. the Homosapiens Agenda

on

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I love Simon!
Simon is a super cute guy that girls totally want to date but… he’s not into them. He’s not even straight but no one knows that. He meets someone like him on Tumblr that goes to his school and they send emails through an anonymous account with aliases.

OMG the flirting was so perfect! It filled me with so many smiles and warm feels. The flirting just keeps progressing the more they get to know eachother and the more they get comfortable with each other. I’m def not going to give away who he was if you haven’t read or seen it. It’s more fun that way. But the President question when I googled that name did come up soooo.

“I’m glad that you find me distracting, it wouldn’t be fair otherwise.”

There were issues with homophobia when a classmate that had been blackmailing him outed him to the whole school. Ugh what a douche. Which you would hope in a perfect world wouldn’t happen but he had a lot of people that defended him without him even asking or expecting it from them so I’m glad he had them.

The ending was so perfect!

I was hoping it would be him! They had such sweet chemistry in person. Looking back you can tell he knew even if Simon didn’t.
Oh high school love! It’s just the best!
My husband is def benefiting from all these residual feels!
Everyone wants to be loved and appreciated for their innerselves and not what’s on the outside good or bad.  Getting to meet where there’s no expectations, everything’s on the table and there no physical interaction in the way helps soul relationships grow. These two young men helped and supported eachother through a very important step in their lives and they wouldn’t have otherwise if they knew who eachother was because that conversation would never have come up. So I think it’s beautiful and kismet.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Of course

This paperback and Leah on the Offbeat are buy one get one 50% off on B&N at least they were when I bought them last night lol. I just want to go through and flag all the clues now. And I have Leah in my audio queue. She was an interesting character I can’t wait to get to know her better.

P.S. Sorry about the thins!!
