This is the second in the Fix-It Witches Series! This runs at the same time as Witch Please the first book, it seems. So that’s fun I had been wondering what Clem was doing.

I’m a big fan of getting into all the side characters when I enjoy a book. I love witch books and rom coms!

When the English Witch hunter came to town all angry looking for trouble or actually just hunting a witch she volunteered as tribute to distract him. I’m pretty sure her type of distraction wasn’t what they thought she was doing. But he was thoroughly distracted.

I loved getting into Clem’s character more in this book cause she’s more of the take action of their coven and there was some problems that needed to be handled. And that twist at the end wow that was fun! Their family drama gets more dramatic but I think they might be in a good place with a couple of hold outs.

I loved Benson he was a great new addition!

Very curious about Extra Witchy! Cause the description of them at the house party was hilarious in the bathroom. I need to know more.😂

✨ So turns out Lexi and I crashed this birthday yesterday cause she snatched the invite from her caretakers house who’s kids go to another preschool. Luckily she knew them from a two day a week program she went to during the pandemic. But yea … At least I RSVP’d 😂🤦‍♀️🫣🍹🍸 #igotlexid

❓ What are you reading this week?

Thank you sourcebookscasa and netgalley for the e-ARC for my honest and voluntary review.

Synopsis:

The second in an adorable witchy rom-com series by New York Times bestselling author Ann Aguirre, perfect for fans of:

Ride-or-die female friendships
A bisexual heroine who stubbornly refuses to accept help
A hero with an incredibly pesky moral conscience
A mouse named Benson who may or may not have all the answers to life, magic, and love (Spoiler: he does!)

Clementine Waterhouse is a perfectly logical witch. She doesn’t tumble headlong into love. Rather she weighs the pros and cons and decides if a relationship is worth pursuing. At least that’s always been her modus operandi before. Clem prefers being the one in charge, always the first to walk away when the time is right. Attraction has never struck her like lightning.

Until the witch hunter comes to town.

Gavin Rhys hates being a witch hunter, but his family honor is on the line, and he needs to prove he’s nothing like his grandfather, a traitor who let everyone down. But things in St. Claire aren’t what they seem, and Gavin is distracted from the job immediately by a bewitching brunette with a sexy smile and haunting secrets in her eyes.

Can the bossiest witch in town find a happy ending with the last person she should ever love?
