I think this is my favorite so far in the series! I loved London in the last books but her love interest is my favorite type of story!

High School rivals!! They compete at everything and he was just trying to get her attention. When he sees her again at their high school reunion he does not fail to annoy her with his charm, good locks and success. So after her 2 besties told her to find a random hookup he didn’t seem like a bad choice.. But things are never that easy.

There was so much more in this story about toxic workplaces, toxic masculinity, gaslighting, just standing up for yourself and making choices to remove these from your life or immediate surroundings.

Being smart and good at what you do as a female is a threat to some types and that’s just sad and antiquated. I don’t understand the types trying to perpetuate that into the younger generations. First of all without women y’all wouldn’t biologically exist and second of all as London would say Shut the F up.

Thank you @readforeverpub and @netgalley for the e-ARC for my honest and voluntary review.

Synopsis:

Strong female friendships and a snappy enemies-to-lovers theme take center stage in this highly anticipated romantic comedy from the USA Today bestselling author of The Dating Playbook.

Successful pediatric surgeon London Kelley just needs to find some balance and de-stress. According to her friends Samiah and Taylor, what London really needs is a casual hookup. A night of fun with no strings. But no one—least of all London—expected it to go down at her high school reunion with Drew Sullivan, millionaire, owner of delicious abs, and oh yes, her archnemesis.

Now London is certain the road to hell is paved with good sex. Because she’s found out the real reason Drew’s back in Austin: to decide whether her beloved hospital remains open. Worse, Drew is doing everything he can to show her that he’s a decent guy who actually cares. But London’s not falling for it. Because while sleeping with the enemy is one thing, falling for him is definitely not part of the plan.
